I believe that it is important for an actor to create some expressive and delightful moments on a big screen. If the actor is successful in portraying the right kind of emotion and sensitivity, that star will obviously shine. But how many actors are comfortable with their so called acting skills still remains a question without any answer.

In our film industry there are many celebs who have tried their hands at acting and have not achieved success. They are just like any other star, some of them are good looking and there are a few of them who are amazingly talented and yet they haven’t tasted success. Maybe suitable roles are not headed their way. Should they quit or wait for some good opportunity to grab a role? I personally feel that their staying in the same field will not make any difference.

Our Cover Story this month talks that it is better that such actors should quit the films and adopt new professions. Shamita Shetty, Amrita Arora, Tushaar Kapoor, Aftab Shivdesani are a few names who work in the movies just for the sake of movies and have failed to deliver the so called result at the box office. Bobby Deol, Isha Deol have successful people in their own family yet they havn’t received their fair share. In fact, the expectations have been so high from them that they couldn’t reach to that so called mark.

Their time is bad. Another name that often comes to my mind is that of Vivek Oberoi. He has acting abilities, hardworking but still luck has closed doors and we don’t actually see him these days. Moreover, Bollywood is swelling with the newcomers everyday so one never knows who will shine on the screen. In our magazine this time, we are also coming up with a new section called “Hello Calgary” which will include some important community events held at Calgary in a months’ time.
