July 2009
Everyone in this world is inspired by one another in some way. Each life affects others is a universal fact. And then there are some extraordinary people on this earth who make a difference to the people around the world. In the month of June we have lost a great music icon Michael Jackson and that his loss is irreparable.
People in every walk of life have been affected by his music because his soul was dedicated to his work. Whether you agree to this or not, Michael reached to that level of success that is irreplaceable. His best album, “Thriller,” sold 50 million copies. I hope, most of all, who have heard of his sudden demise couldn’t believe that he has left this world and the whole world went into deep shock. People couldn’t believe and rushed to hear the news from their nearest sources. When I heard this news I switched on to CNN but even their staff had not confirmed his demise initially.
I do hope his death has encouraged us to reach outside of ourselves and connect to humanity. I have always liked the art of music. Michael Jackson was one of those personalities, I have been aware of since I first understood what music was. Since childhood I have been watching him on the TV and in the field of pop nobody comes as close to his persona.
For the past two three years, we didn’t hear much about him but that doesn’t mean to say that he was forgotten easily. We can learn so much from his fame and from his demise. Michael will not be just a name in the history but he has left a wealth of wonderful music demanding to be heard, seen and played not only today but for generations to come.
